Mediterranean Cruise birthday celebration

I celebrated a big birthday with family on the Celebrity Equinox and loved ever moment. I booked concierge class balcony and enjoyed special amenities. The dining was first class and the service by the crew and staff were excellent. I needed to book a 7 nighter; I did not want to be away for a full 2 weeks as I am blessed with business to get back to, so this 7 night itinerary from Barcelona to Athens was perfect. We spent one night pre cruise in Barcelona (highly recommended) and one night post cruise in Athens. I booked very special semi private/small group shore excursions through shoretrips.com, a favorite vendor of mine which never disappoints. I learned first hand why my clients love the smaller groups when exploring the cities they visit along the way. My favorite visit was the Amalfi Coast. Shoretrips arranged a private driver with a Mercedes minivan for a 9 hour day of pure beauty and bliss in that amazing part of Italy. All in all it was a spectacular trip!
