Tamarindo Beach, Costa Rica
The last part of our visit in Costa Rica was to Tamarindo and WOW. This was my family's favorite. Pictures do not do this country's beauty justice. We stayed at Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort & Spa in a Sunset View Oceanfront Junior Suite. This room was smaller than the room in La Fortuna but the views made it all worth it. This property was a both sides of the street with 3 pools, several restaurant options, bar and swim up bars. This town was busy with lots of shopping, restaurants, & excursions. The food was sooooo good here, I don't think anyone had any complaints on anything we tried. We took a sunset catamaran cruise which included drinks and a light meal. Even though the water conditions were not good that day for snorkeling, we still had the best time. We took a ATV tour and my boys, hands down said it was their favorite thing. I do have to admit, it was super fun. Our last night we rode horses on the beach during the sunset hour, and oh my...this was my favorite. It has been on my bucket list to do and I am so glad we did it during a Costa Rican sunset.
