My family and I had the privilege of visiting the beautiful country of Costa Rica. We spent the first 3 days in La Fortuna. We stayed at Hotel Arenal Manoa in a Junior Suite Superior room. This property was absolutely gorgeous with all it's lush trees and plants. Everywhere you went you had a view of the volcano. They have a restaurant and a brick oven pizza place by the pool that was very good. Two pool areas with swim up bars, one of which was a thermal pool and at night it felt amazing. My youngest son and I also tried out the spa and he had no complaints about his first massage! We spent time walking around the town of Fortuna and checked out the shops and tried new restaurants. We did three tours, we visited the waterfall which was absolutely gorgeous. The 500 steps back up to the top was a bit rough, haha. The next day we visited the Arenal Volcano National Park and did a hike around the base. Our tour guide was phenomenal in his knowledge of the area, country, plants, trees, animals and species. After the hike we went to Ecotermales hot springs to swim and it included a very yummy dinner buffet. This was so beautiful. All the tours and excursions were super fun.
