My history in the work force started out in the engineering industry, but in 1989 I figured out my passion was in the travel industry. My employment history starts out at American Airlines in reservations and FlyAAway Vacations, and after 5 years I went to work as a Travel Agent. Well as the story goes I never left the travel industry.
My love of helping others plan that special trip, helps to make my job special. Several years ago I was fortunate enough to visit Oahu and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which was amazing. The Hilton was a great location and walking distance to many areas of Waikiki Beach. We stayed in a corner suite, and could not believe it but the USAF Thunderbirds were there, and what a show we received. Visiting Pearl Harbor and seeing the Thunderbirds was a once in a lifetime event for me. My life so far has been amazing, with travel to Hawaii(8 times), St Thomas/St John(spent my birthday week at the Westin), St Martin(planned my son's destination wedding, and it was beautiful), Grand Cayman, Barbados(spent an awesome 8 days), Aruba(drove a jeep all over the island), Alaska(once by land, once by sea, and best was the 13 day cruise/tour), Austria(Christmas Markets are amazing), Germany, France(Paris, Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo, UK( including London and Wales), Switzerland, Italy,Netherlands, Belgium, Mexico(including Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco), Singapore, Indonesia, Australia(including Darwin, Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, Brisbane, and Sydney(including the Blue Mountains).
River Cruising is a must! I won a Viking River Cruise in 2015, and selected the Danube. I was hooked. I decided that sailing the Rhine would need to be next, and I was able to sail the Rhine in 2018. Try Avalon Waterways with their suite view. The view from your room will never be the same.
I have been fortunate enough to have toured with Globus(spent Thanksgiving in Ireland and Globus makes sure it is a fun event) and Trafalgar; also cruised with Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Celebrity, and Disney. I returned to Australia for a 2nd time a couple of years ago, but New Zealand was my focus the 2nd time around. Delta Airlines service on each flight made the experience worth the trip. The route in New Zealand was different, and so were the experiences. The picture of me holding the Koala is really special. It was on my bucket list, and what a special time.

I can also tell you about Celebrity cruises to Antarctica and sailing on the beautiful Harmony of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. Antarctica was not on my bucket list, however after spending almost 3 weeks by land and sea, there are such spectacular sites to see. The Sea Lions, and Penguins will have you talking for years.
